LG’s popular Cookie handset, which boasts a touchscreen, at an affordable price, is to get an upgrade for the Korean market. The Cooky boasts updated specifications from the Cookie, most notably, a 3D accelorator chip, and LG’s own S-class User Interface, which was first seen on the company’s high-end Arena handset.
Other features include 7.2 Mbps HSDPA connectivity, built-in accelerometer, and TV-output functionality. For the time being at least, the Cooky wil be available from June in Korea, for the sum of approximately €300.
