Are you feeling kind of depressed lately or know someone who does? Here is a nifty little iPhone app that could be useful in your situation. The Sad Scale iPhone app from the Deep Pocket Series is a handy tool in assessing your present emotional state and is now available at the App Store. By answering a series of standardized questions, this iPhone app will then score your present state of mind giving you an initial assessment of what your condition is. However, the developers of this app are quick to note that this isn’t, by any means, a substitute for consulting a health care professional. This is just meant to complement their services. As such is the case, it saves the last 30 entries and can email the results to your doctor directly from the app. Unfortunately, only three types of tests are currently available, but more will be provided via free updates.
The Sad Scale iPhone app costs $0.99. It might not be the most entertaining and flashy app in the market today, but it might just be the right software to help you better understand the current depression you’ve been feeling for the past couple of days.
