Vodafone activist investor Efficient Capital Structures lost its bid to sell off the company’s 45% stake in Verizon Wireless. In yesterday’s vote, only 5% of the shareholders approved of ECS’s plan. The majority of shareholders reaffirmed Vodafone’s commitment to maintain its investment in the joint venture with Verizon Communications by disapproving of the resolution.
