On February 11, Verizon Wireless will introduce new prepaid services for customers not interested in post-paid accounts. The Prepaid Unlimited Talk plan provides users with unlimited calling to any number on any U.S. network for a daily fee of $3.99. This fee is only charged on days when calls are made/received. Text messages will cost one cent to send/receive. The Prepaid Plus plan offers unlimited in-network calling and unlimited nights and weekends for a daily access fee of $1.99. Any minutes called to non-Verizon numbers during the day will be charged at the rate of 5 cents. Text messages on the Prepaid Plus plan will cost 5 cents. The Prepaid Basic plan does not charge daily access fees. Instead, it charges a straight 25 cents for each minute and 20 cents for each text message sent/received. All of the prepaid plans are eligible for a $20 monthly unlimited text, picture and video messaging bundle.
