Verizon Getting a G’Zone Sequel

The FCC today revealed a followup to Verizon’s durable G’Zone handset. The Casio G’Zone Type S is a slightly smaller clamshell than the original effort, with a hard plastic loop antenna at the top similar to Sony Ericsson’s Z520. The Type S has entry level features such as a VGA camera, monochrome external screen and lacks VCAST music or video, but it does include Bluetooth and is water, shock and dust resistant. The phone and manual feature official Verizon branding however the carrier has not yet announced the phone.
