Adding to its rank of phones for the North American market, UTStarcom debuted the very small CDM8935 clamshell phone at CES today. Its small size does not imply that it is small in stature, though. Measuring less that 4 cubic inches and weighing in at less than 3 ounces, the 800/1900 dual-band CMD8935 still boasts an decent list of features, such as a CMOS 310K camera and both 262k color interior and 65k color exterior screens. It is also compatible with most popular file formats, such as MP3, JPG and BMP. The on-board 16 MB of memory will let users store a decent number of photos and up to 500 phone numbers. No carrier has been announced.
