Research group NPD Group said Wednesday that the US mobile phone market grew again during the third quarter. The top manufacturers by market share in the US are as follows:
- Motorola
- LG
- Nokia
- Samsung
- Sanyo
- Kyocera
- Sony Ericsson
- UTStarcom/Audiovox
- Siemens/BenQ
Overall Americans purchased 31.6 million mobile phones for over $2 billion.
