Tesco Mobile, one of the many MVNOs operating in the UK market, has sparked a potential price war by announcing a ne wunlimited tariff. The new tariff will be a SIM only deal and will offer unlimited calls, unlimited texts and unlimited data for £30 per month. The only stipulation is that users are restricted to £500 worth of usage each month, but even so this seems to be a fantastically good deal. These sort of unlimited tariffs aren’t common in the UK with the only ones being available offered to certain business customers. The five main networks may now find themselves on the backfoot and hopefully, for the consumer, they either match or at least try and compete with this offer. Tesco Mobile are putting the tariff forward as a recession beating measure and with the promise of unlimited everything it will probably do good business.
