T-Mobile issued a statement today providing more information about the Motorola Sidekick Slide. Motorola has determined the cause of the power cycle problem is related to the battery contacts. It has a solution for both existing devices and newly made ones that should solve the issue. T-Mobile hopes to resume selling the Sidekick Slide starting next week. Slide users who are having problems can contact Customer Care or go to a T-Mobile retail outlet to discuss resolving the issue and other options.

Yea the other options are trying a different device at the customers cost or trying a different slide.
When I did this I got a refurbished slide that was worst than the original!
