Sprint announced the Sanyo 7050 yesterday, which was previously revealed in FCC filings. In addition to the specs reported earlier, this entry-level clamshell is ruggedized to meet Military Spec 810F, which is protection against shock, dust, and vibration. The 7050 feature Bluetooth, Speakerphone, ReadyLink PTT and 1x RTT data. In addition it feature location based services as well as autonomous GPS that can work even when the phone does not have cellular service. The 7050 is available for $150 with a 2 year contract.
