Sony Ericsson and Sagem today announced an agreement to combine efforts on entry-level phones. Sagem is a French mobile phone maker. As part of the deal, Sagem will license hardware and software platform technologies to Sony Ericsson, while Sagem will provide Sony Ericsson with a number of Sony Ericsson branded phones on an ODM basis. The two companies will also conduct joint development activities.
