Sling Media announced a version of its SlingPlayer Mobile software for Symbian S60 3rd edition phones. SlingPlayer Mobile lets SlingBox users watch and control their TV at home from their mobile phone, including local channels, video on demand, pay per view content as well as programs recorded onto a DVR. The player will work over 3G or Wi-Fi networks. The S60 version of the software will support specific E and N series phones, and there is a temporary discount on the software for N95 owners. SlingPlayer Mobile costs $29.99, and also works on Palm OS and Windows Mobile devices.
