SK Telecom Considering Offer For Sprint

July 10th, 2007 · Source · No Comments

According to reports from South Korea, SK Telecom is looking to buyout Sprint. The company has been talking to private equity firms to share cost, as Sprint’s market value is higher than that of SK Telecom. Because of this disparity, there is also speculation that the Korean leader is looking to invest in Sprint instead. SK Telecom co-owns MVNO Helio with Earthlink, which currently operates on Sprint’s network.
