March 26th, 2007 · Source · No Comments

Six years after launching the Samsung Uproar - the country’s first MP3 phone - Sprint today announced the Samsung UpStage, a CDMA version of the Samsung’s F300 “Ultra Music” phone. The UpStage has a unique design with a “phone side” and a “music side”. Each side has its own display, and the music side features touch-sensitive controls. The UpStage weighs in at 2.57 ounces and 0.37 inches thick. Features include stereo Bluetooth, a 1.3 megapixel camera, speech dictation, and a memory card slot (64 MB card included.) The phone comes with a unique “battery wallet” that protects the phone and extends battery life. The UpStage is also the first phone to include Sprint’s Music manger software for easily transferring non-DRM music files from a PC to the phone via USB. The UpStage will be available in early April.
