The new Ultra Smart F700 from Samsung is a GSM 900/1800/1900 multimedia slider with 7.2 Mbps HSDPA for fast wireless downloads. The F700 adds a Flash-based touchscreen user interface (similar to Apple’s iPhone) that lets users interact with the features and functions of the phone, such as accessing playlists or adjusting the volume directly on the screen. The screen uses a technology called VibeTonz that alerts users when they have activated a control or button. The 2.78-inch screen slides up to reveal a full qwerty keyboard for text messaging, emailing or web browsing. The F700 also has a 5.0 megapixel autofocus camera and Bluetooth. It will be showcased at 3GSM next week in Barcelona.
