Kodiak today announced that RIM has licensed a Java version of its software, including its Push To Talk (PTT) client. RIM has already launched a version of this software on the Blackberry Pearl for Cingular. Because of this new licensing agreement, additional PTT enabled models are expected for Cingular as well as Alltel, both of which use Kodiak’s PTT technology.
