Qwest Adds Mobile Broadband to Its Offering

Piggybacking on Sprint’s EV-DO Rev. A wireless data network, Qwest is rolling out its own branded 3G mobile data service. There are three Qwest Wireless Mobile Broadband plans, starting at $69.99 for 500 MB per month. Qwest is also offering a 600 MB plan, and an unlimited plan. Subscribers of Qwest’s wired broadband and telephony services can receive a $20 discount on the mobile broadband plans. By way of comparison, Sprint offers unlimited wireless data on its network for $60 per month.
