Today Opera announced that it has made a version of its Opera Mini mobile web browser compatible with phones running the BREW platform. Opera’s Mini browser provides a richer browsing experience than the WAP browsers typically found on BREW phones. It will allow BREW handsets to access fuller content on more web sites, it will work faster and use less data, which will help keep costs down for users on per-megabyte data plans. Opera did not say when the browser will be downloadable from its web site.
