Nokia Upgrades Series 40

May 7th, 2007 · Source · No Comments

Nokia today announced a new version of their Series 40 operating system, which powers most of the Nokia phones sold in the US. While the new version doesn’t change the look and feel significantly, it does add some important new features, like support for Flash Lite 2.1. The new version also includes a number of new Java protocols that will let developers build more advanced media as well as enterprise applications. Nokia will release the developer kit next month, however they have not yet announced any handsets that run this new version.
