Nokia announced today that it is including widget support in S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2. Greater support for widgets via Web Run-Time means users will eventually be able to further personalize their mobile Internet experience and customize which content appears on their handsets, such as live weather updates. The widgets will be distributed via mobile Web sites and other channels as they become available. The tools, which are all browser based, won’t be available to developers until the third quarter of 2007.
