The latest edition of Nokia Messaging, for Symbian S60 5th Edition, is due to be released next month, but it seems the developers have pre-released the client to get feedback. The release version, according to Nokia Beta Labs, won’t see any radical changes from the pre-release version, this is primarly to get feedback rather than introducing major last minute changes. As for functionality, this is a brand new client that does everything its previous incarnations did, but the touchscreen component of this version allows for such features as ‘tap and hold’ functionality; more intuitive finger based navigation; auto-rotate, contact picture display in messages and an inbox preview.
