Nokia has revealed its financial results for last year, and as is to be expect, the results aren’t what Nokia would of liked. In terms of overall sales, in the last quarter of the year, they declined by 19%, compared to the previous year, with sales of mobile phones and services declining by 27% on the previous year. Though Nokia are still number one, in terms of market share, overall, their marketshare fell from 40% to 37%. Nokia don’t expect their marketshare to decline any furthur than this. Lastly, as for the number of devices sold, Nokia sold 113.1 million handsetsin the fourth quarter, which is a 15.3% decline for the same peroid in 2007, with the company selling 133.5 million units in that peroid.
