Nextel announced that it had a net increase of 553,000 subscribers in Q4 2003. The numbers are in line with predictions, and bring the final net increase of 2003 to 2.3 million new customers. Average monthly revenue per customer was $70, an industry high and 1.5% increase from 2002.
