California wants all drivers to either use a hands-free device or risk paying fines. This comes at an interesting time, since a few days ago a study was released that stated hands free devices don’t really prevent accidents. It’s the drivers lack of attention, not use of one hand, that causes accidents.

The California bill hasn’t passed yet, but it wouldn’t be surprising if it did pass. This might be a good time to invest in hands-free device makers…
