If you think otherwise, then here is a proof you won’t be able to deny - according to LG’s recent press release they have managed to sell over a million units of the Prada phone, which is quite a milestone for such a quaint offering.

Here is what LG’s officials had to say on this success: “Since its March 2007 debut the Prada Phone by LG has been recognized as one of the world’s most sophisticated handset combining innovative design with technological breakthroughs including the first complete touch screen.

This visionary approach by intimate and productive partnership from two vastly different industries became a platform for new design opportunities and opened doors to diverse multimedia experiences.” Also, encouraged by the strong market response, LG and Prada have committed to further collaborations and will launch an update to the original Prada phone in the 4Q of 2008. However, it’ll be up against much tougher competition this time around, with Samsung and other phone makers picking up on this trend.
