UIQ Technologies has added support for widgets to UIQ 3.3, which was made available to phone manufacturers and developers today. Along with widget support is a dashboard within UIQ to provide a central place to manage widgets. UIQ 3.3 also integrates the Opera 9 web browser and will let users take advantage of Opera’s browser widgets. UIQ 3.3 is based on Symbian OS v9.3.
