The FCC today posted a list containing internet domain names that have sent spam to mobile phones. The sites have 30 days to comply to anti-spam rules before facing fines through CAN-SPAM. The domains were submitted to the FCC by mobile phone carriers, but it appears many spammers are using carrier domains to do their dirty work. The list includes:
- Cingular.com
- messaging.nextel.com
- messaging.sprintpcs.com
- attmobility.com
- Alltel.com
