The FCC today also revealed a new Pocket PC Phone from HTC. Aside from the usual navigation keys, the GENE 100 only features a touch screen for input - there is no slide out keyboard or a numeric keypad. It is a small candybar style phone with quad-band GSM/GPRS (possibly EDGE), Bluetooth, 2 megapixel camera and full size SD slot. HTC has produced a number of similar devices, but they have only been offered by European and Asian carriers. It is likely the GENE will not be seen in American stores either.
