The FCC site revealed details on a new Ogo device from IXI with a quad-band GSM/EDGE radio and Bluetooth. It carries over the original Ogo’s make-up compact design, and has a narrow external display, large internal screen, stereo speakers and full QWERTY keyboard. The keyboard has shortcut keys to messaging and other applications. It also has a scroll wheel to the left of the keyboard, and an 8-way D-pad on the right side. The Ogo2.0 is primarily a messaging device, and syncs with POP3 and IMAP4 email accounts. It uses customizable attachments to add other features, such as a Bluetooth handset, a 2-megapixel camera, and a bottle opener. Swisscom will be carrying the Ogo2.0 and U.S. CDMA carrier Revol announced it will add the Ogo2.0 to its line-up this summer.
