Ericsson and Samsung recently resolved a patent dispute concerning 2G and 3G wireless technology. The two companies had battled one another in patent litigation, but a new cross-licensing deal struck between them has led to the withdrawal of the lawsuits. The agreement gives each company the rights to use certain patents from the other in new wireless products.
