At a recent media summit, Blockbuster CEO James Keyes said the movie rental chain is speaking to all the major handset manufacturers in hopes that they can make the process of downloading and watching movies on mobile phones easier. Blockbuster is also speaking with mobile software companies. Keye’s did not elaborate on how the process could be improved. Blockbuster’s goal is to expand its business as more capable handsets are developed with media playback features.
