Australian researchers are preparing a study that will use mobile phones to help monitor adolescent depression and suicidal factors.
Under the program, teenagers download specially-designed software on their mobile phones which asks a series of questions twice a day to gauge the youths’ moods and susceptibility to depression.
400 teenagers will participate in the study for 12 months.
