Google has updated its mobile Gmail application to version 1.5. The new version has been pared down to use less data, and it will now sync better with the full version, showing sent emails in the sent folder on a PC. It has also been fitted with better search functionality, allowing users to search their entire message archive from their phone. Other improvements include the ability to see full contact details with one click, direct calling from Gmail, and the ability to save messages for later sending
