Garmin’s Nuvifone gets the go-ahead from the FCC

Garmin's Nuvifone Garmin’s upcoming first ever mobile phone - the Nuvifone, manufactured by ASUS, has been the subject of a few delays. It was originally set to be released anytime now, but had been put back to the first half of next year.

Garmin blamed the delay on issues with certain networks. Today, the device has passed through the FCC, it’s possible that the handset could be released sooner than some might think. Though, no official announcement, in terms of release date, has been confirmed by Garmin.
