Sony yesterday announced the VAIO T350, the first laptop that has EDGE wireless data technology built-in. Besides EDGE, the Sony VAIO T350 supports WiFi and Bluetooth, making the ultraportable laptop the most wireless savvy on the market. The T350 includes a PC card slot that could power a HSDPA card when Cingular launches its 3G network later this year.

EDGE service is being provided by Cingular. An unlimited rate plan is available for $79.99 per month. Sony Style is selling the T350 for $2,299.
