Edward C. Baig of USA Today penned a review of the T-Mobile Sidekick II in today’s paper. In the review he says (emphasis added by MobileTracker):

Let me briefly weigh in on one other clever messaging phone T-Mobile is selling. It’s the just-available $300 Sidekick II, based on the Danger “hiptop” design and software I have favorably reviewed in the past.

Lead times on newspaper pieces are not long–Baig could have left out “Just available” very easily. Because of this, it’s our opinion that we’ll see the Sidekick II within the next week. MobileTracker will provide a review of the Sidekick 2 in the near future.
