CTIA 2006 — Verizon Wireless announced a partnership with Adobe that will see Flash technology built into many upcoming handsets. The carrier has plans to develop a whole Flash ecosystem that will, “allow developers to create new interactive mobile content experiences for Verizon Wireless customers.” This should make Verizon Wireless the first US carrier to launch phones with Adobe Flash.

No launch dates were given.
