CTIA 2006 – In addition to slick new GSM handsets like the t719 and t509, Samsung announced a CDMA clamshell dubbed the a960. One unusual aspect of the a960 is the external face of the phone sports an off center circular OLED that defaults to an analog clock.

Features include:

• Music player
• Video and Music on demand
• microSD memory slot
• 1.3 megapixel camera
• Speech-to-text dictation

The Samsung a960 is expected to begin shipping in the second quarter.
