Cingular Wireless today launched the innovative Samsung D307, a dual-hinged handset. The D307′s form factor is close to the Motorola MPx, it can either be a pretty normal looking clamshell or it can switch to look like a mini-laptop (like the Motorola A630 or LG VX9800).

Feature wise the Samsung D307 sports:

• EDGE
• 176 × 220 262k color TFT display
• AIM, ICQ and Yahoo! IM

Cingular is selling the D307 for $199.99 after $50 in instant savings and a 2-year service contract.
