The FCC has unveiled a new smartphone coming to AT&T from Chinese manufacturer Amoi. The SMT5700 is an AT&T-branded version of Amoi’s 6711 smartphone featuring a full QWERTY keyboard. It is a GSM/EDGE phone running Windows Mobile 5.0 with Bluetooth, as well as a 2 megapixel camera and microSD slot. This model is the first partnership between Amoi and a US carrier. There were hints at 3GSM that other Amoi models will also be coming to AT&T (Cingular). The SMT5700 is also one of the first models seen with AT&T logos, rather than Cingular for the Music Store, Mall and MEdiaNet.
