Cingular Wireless today announced its Q4 / Full year results, and the numbers look quite good. You’ve heard reports that Cingular wants to buy out AT&T Wireless, and it appears today they have the means:
- Added 642,000 subscribers in Q4, making for a total of 24 million
- Data revenues grew 85% vs. the same quarter a year ago
- GSM covers 93% of the company’s network
- Revenues were up 5% to over $3.9 billion for the quarter, $15.5 billion for the year
