Cingular evaluating SMT 5600, Ogo

Cingular is still evaluating wether to carry the UTStarcom SMT 5600 and Ogo. Both phones were part of AT&T Wireless when Cingular took over control.

The Ogo is a data only device that was aimed at kids. While sales figures were never announced, most believe that it did not do well. While it’s still possible that Cingular continues with the Ogo, it’s not very likely. Inventory will be sold until it runs out and at that point it will be discontinued.
