RIM Gives Developers Access To More on Blackberries

March 27th, 2007 · Source · No Comments

RIM today added a number of new features that will allow developers to create richer applications for Blackberries. The company has added APIs for the camera, media player, GPS and more to its Java Development kit. This will give programmers access to include these features in 3rd party applications, not just ones developed by RIM. Current phones that have these features will be able to run new applications developed with these APIs as long as carriers have allowed RIM to include them in handsets.
