Mio Technology has introduced two concepts at CES 2008 – a navigator with SIM-connectivity and a dual-sided navigation handset. The portable navigator has a flat-panel touchscreen design. In addition to navigation functionality it features a SIM-card slot. Thus with the Mio navigator you can make calls and access the Internet.

In addition Mio Technology showcased its dual-sided GPS-handset. Actually it offers two devices in one – a navigator and a phone. One side is a touchscreen for GPS or multimedia while the other is a more traditional phone with a keypad.

Neither of the products is available on the market. Mio Technology hasn’t unveiled the release date.
