The megapixel race shows no sign of slowing down, what with 12 MP units to be available to implement in handsets from early next year. It’s been revealed by Samsung that the company has shifted ten million units, worldwide, of 5 MP and 8 MP cameraphones, to far this year. It’s wise to assume most of those sold were 5 MP phones, as the company has more 5 MP, than 8 MP handsets available on the market. This huge number was reached, in the second week of this month.
