This isn’t Samsung’s first known stab at a phone with a touchscreen two Sim Card slots – that was the P720, which, was ultimately scrapped. Now the D980, armed with the TouchWiz UI, and obviously a touchscreen, hopes to fiind a place in the ever growing mobile phone market. At its core, it’s essentially an F480, armed with two Sim Card slots, and nothing more. No news on pricing or availability as of yet.
The tech specs are as follows:
- Connectivity: GSM Triband (900/1800/1900MHz), GPRS/EDGE connectivity
- Display: 2.6″ 240×320px QVGA 262K color display
- Camera: 5 megapixels, with autofocus and flash
- Memory: MicroSD memory card slot
- Extras: Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0 connectivity, Dual SIM GSM card slots
