Here is a report of concert attendees given the choice of giving up their camera phones or not entering the concert venue. The RIAA sponsored event took place in Boston during the security madness that was the DNC. It is not clear if the camera ban was for security or copyright reasons, but since a security guard said it was the RIAA’s call we are leaning towards copyright.
