BenQ are set to release a new, affordable music phone, which looks quite the part, later this month. Spec-wise,it’s not going to win phone of the year, but, then, not everyone needs top-of-the-range handsets. The C36 will sport a 1.3 megapixel camera, which can double-up as a webcam, FM Radio, 2” screen, and Micro SD card slot. In terms of battery life, you should expect approximately 2.4 hours of talk time, and 180 hours on standby.

In terms of extra applications, the C36 has a voice notes app, and a health management app – to keep the user in shape. The C36 will hit Indonesia later this month, with other markets to follow thereafter.
