PhoneScoop is reporting that T-Mobile will be charging “a couple of bucks a month” for an upcoming UMA plan. The Samsung T709, a T-Mobile exclusive, will be able to transfer phone calls utilizing UMA between traditional GSM networks and a compatible WiFi access point. The information was gleamed from a Philips representative who manufactures the UMA chip-set for Samsung.
