Sprint Nextel has launched Recently Sold Homes, another new location based service (LBS) application. The app uses data provided by Smarter Agent to find sales information for homes near your current location. It’s targeted at both consumers (looking for a home) and real estate sales agents.

Smarter Agent covers 180 of the 200 largest markets in the United States. The consumer can conduct unlimited searches for a single monthly fee of $4.99, plus data charges starting at $10 for unlimited access or $0.02 per kilobyte for casual usage.
